Who is Krewe of Leaders?
Krewe of Leaders (KOL) was founded in 2009 in Central Florida by Mary Alice Wilder. She partnered with other community leaders to recognize and honor those that serve their communities and to instill future leaders of tomorrow.
Krewe of Leaders provides scholarships to deserving high school students who choose to pursue careers in Medical, Hospitality and Performing Arts. These scholarships are funded by a series of community events surrounding “Mardi Gras” season, including a Royal Gala, Fat Tuesday Celebration and Festival of Cities including a community parade. In addition, Krewe meets monthly for meetings and socials. All events are open to members, as well as non-members.
